Project Rain Garden - Petoskey 2017
Kilborn Street Rain Garden Project - COMPLETED
Steep slopes made for fast moving stormwater which often resulted in erosion and flooding at this residence on Kilborn Street in Petoskey. The installed rain garden will assist with reducing the volume of stormwater entering the storm drain and allow for runoff to soak into the ground. |
Corner of Howard and Fulton Streets Rain Garden Project - In Progress
For this rain garden at the corner of Fulton and Howards Street, the property owners wished to intercept their home’s roof runoff so downspout connections were added and directed to the rain garden. The installed rain garden will assist with reducing the volume of stormwater entering the city’s storm sewer. A number of artistic hardscapes were incorporated into the design. |
Watch for additional rain garden installations coming soon.
