June 13, 2022
Tip of the Mitt Watershed and Lake Charlevoix Association, along with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, Land Information Access Association (LIAA), and other partners, hosted a Lake Charlevoix Day on June 13, 2022. This was a key opportunity to learn more about the historical trends of shoreline management on Lake Charlevoix, the impacts of shoreline hardening, and how residents, contractors, and local governments can help protect the health of the lake.
