The following zip folders do not contain maps, but rather Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data files for developing maps. To utilize these files, specific GIS software is required. ESRI and MapInfo are among the companies that produce and sell GIS software. Free GIS programs such as ArcGIS Explorer Online or Qgis are also available for viewing this data. Numerous finished maps (particularly of water features or watersheds) can be obtained from the Watershed Council for the cost of printing. In addition, the Watershed Council is available to develop and print custom maps with specific data types or themes. Contact David Edwards at 231-347-1181or email for more information and pricing.
